Pastor Swanson has served as our company chaplain since 2010. Early on we realized that our employees spend more time at work than anywhere else. We felt a chaplain would be a special way to serve them and show them we care. The program has been very successful. James leads three Bible studies and spends time in our company getting to know our employees and their families. James is very gifted in connecting with people and counseling them through whatever challenges they may be facing. This has made such a difference in the lives of our employees. The end result has been changed lives and employees who are more appreciative and loyal. I would recommend Pastor Swanson to any business owner wanting to make a difference in the lives of their employees.
Our company has always tried to work with our staff to improve themselves. Our values are not made a secret at our company. We have always wanted to be able to console our employees. As the business has grown, it has been more difficult to have all the discussions that are probably needed. We also found out that it was understandable that even though we wanted to help, why would a staff member want to share their stress point with us, if in their mind it would be showing a weakness in the eyes of the very people that are evaluating them for performance. By bringing in Pastor James, we have widened the reach of what we would love to do for everyone. James has a gentle spirit blessed upon him and he has meshed very well with our staff during our visits. We are very happy with our decision to allow James to be with our staff and feel great that he is carrying out further what we feel is our Christian responsibility to our staff.
I love James and CC! Corporate Care is providing a greatly appreciated service by giving our employees an opportunity to discuss whatever weighs us down. CC comes to our office with the intention of connecting with our employees on a spiritual level. Nothing pushy, just a purposeful outreach and expression of Christ’s love. Everyone has burdens they carry, not everyone engages, but everyone has the opportunity to bring light into the darkness. CC helps light the path.
Corporate Care chaplains are professional, sensitive and friendly. Partnering with them has allowed us to extend spiritual care to employees in a way that’s easy to utilize, confidential and practically useful.
